Cane Syrup Makin’ Day at Rikard’s Mill Historical Park will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 as Pioneer Days at Rikard’s Mill Historical Park continues, and the general public is invited. The event will culminate at noon when the juice has been cooked into syrup and will be sold. One jar limited per person.
Join us for a day of family fun. Watch a 20th-century mule-driven cane mill and furnace make cane syrup as in olden days. The syrup will be ready by 1 p.m. Barbecue & sausage will be available. 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. For more information, contact the Monroe County Museum at (251) 575-7433.
