Trail Of Tears Motorcycle Ride
Join the 24rd Annual Trail of Tears Motorcycle Ride on Sept. 16, 2017. Trail of Tears Commemorative Motorcycle Ride® begins in Bridgeport, AL and ends in Waterloo, AL. You’ll learn about the history of the Trail of Tears, see the Trail first hand, and feel the brotherhood shared by those who ride it. Join us on the ride along part of the original Trail of Tears to honor the Cherokee, Choctaw, Chickasaw, Creek, and Seminole nations.
Also the Memorial Ride will come out of Chattanooga, TN.
The Trail of Tears Memorial Motorcycle Ride is dedicated to Native Americans who were forced off their land in the early 1800’s by the United States. Thousands of Native Americans died in the trek across the United states. Proceeds from this event go raise awareness of the “Trail of Tears”.
The 2016 Trail of Tears Memorial Motorcycle Ride will start in Chattanooga Tennessee on Saturday September 17th, 2016 from Riverfront Parkway downtown at 9:00AM and will end in Florence, Alabama. (Oklahoma ride will follow on the next two days for interested riders). The route follows Highway 41/72 and then down Highway 64 and Highway 43. This is the same great ride founded by Bill Cason and others and will be our 24rd year! This is the world’s largest organized ride with as many as 20,000+ riders so come early!!
