by: Janet Kynard, It Happens in Alabama
A very intense Navy Seal created obstacle course is coming to Alabama March 25th, 2017. The obstacle course is called BoneFrog and is owned and operated by U.S. Navy Seals.
The BoneFrog will be held at the Talladega Superspeedway. The start and finish will be right on the infield! The start times will run from 8:30 am until noon, with start times being every 15 minutes. The Sprint course will be 3+ miles of 20+ Navy Seal-Style obstacles. The Challenge course will be 8+ miles and 30+ obstacles and the Tier-1 will be 11+ miles and 50+ obstacles. This is going to be a huge exciting event for both competitors and spectators. Are you up for the challenge? Anyone, male and female, can enter and the price is very reasonable. If you get your ticket in advance on their website, the prices run from $45 to $90 for Sprint, $79 to $169 for the Challenge course and $102 to $204 for Tier-1. You may wonder, how did we get so lucky to have this event in Alabama. Here’s how it came about: BoneFrog held a race in Atlanta last year. Just so happens that the daughter of Talladega Superspeedway’s owner was there. She had such a great experience, the owner reached out to BoneFrog to host one of their own. This event will offer people, from all across the state, the opportunity to see how they measure up to SEAL standards. Will you be one of them?
